In 2018 I decided I would build a little camper. I found a frame with the wheels, springs and hitch. I started there. All of the vintage "canned ham" trailers have wood frames which by now are usually rotted out. So I started with an all steel tubing frame.
I then used .063 5052 aluminum sheet to cover it. It is insulated with wood planking on the inside. I wanted a small, funky, cozy, trailer but with modern conveniences.
After these photos were taken I have added a microwave, solar panel on top to run the lights and an AC unit. I also have a big screen TV and coffee pot, griddle and portable toilet. The top can be opened for ventilation.
